A Letter from our President

One of our main goals is to ensure that our clients say we are a great company to work with and our coworkers think we are a great company to work for.  We are fortunate in this regard.

I can think of no other construction company in the region that has more than 20, 25, and 30 year plus employees in their ranks.  Rob Viau, our Senior Project Manager has been employed with B&H for over 45 years. That kind of loyalty and experience is rarely duplicated in our industry.  It also makes for a very formidable team to tackle almost any concrete or masonry project.

We also have a serious commitment to continuing education.  Understanding concrete and the many factors that affect its quality and durability is a very important goal for us.  Since the ’80s, we have been committed to train and certify our team leaders in order to achieve this goal and produce a high-quality product.  Today, several of our employees are certified as ACI Field Testing Technicians and VDOT Field and Plant Technicians.

At B&H Concrete, there is nothing more important to us than satisfied and repeat clients who will vouch for our performance, quality, and production.

For over 50 years, we have been the premiere site concrete contractor in the region.  For the last 3 decades, we have been a major contractor in commercial and residential concrete and masonry work.  We will continue to bring the same strength and attention to detail no matter what type of project we are taking on.  We would appreciate the opportunity to ensure that the concrete and masonry aspects of your project are among the least of your concerns.

B&H Concrete has always been committed to safety. To maintain this commitment, B&H has multiple key personnel that has completed CPR and basic First Aid training. This training, along with weekly Tailgate Safety meetings, and monthly Company Safety meetings, allows B&H employees to quickly identify, and avoid dangerous situations in the field. Whether it is Traffic Awareness Safety on a VDOT highway project, Equipment Operator Certification, or simply respecting utility locator markings, B&H views safety as a primary goal.
